How wonderful you have this. There would have to be tons of memories tied up in it. My mother was much the same as yours. Very, very little would be thrown out. I think my favorite memory of my mom and her meat grinder would be when she would grind up leftover beef, throw a goodly amount of potatoes and onions through it, and serve up the best hash I've ever had, even to this day. I know you're right about young people today. They have missed so much. I graduated high school in 1959, and from what I've seen of things in this poor world since has convinced me that I grew up in the best time of history. I'll always be thankful to God for seeing to it that way, f/v
